CCI Pope pursues, through its Product Development Team, the development of new technologies to deliver improved Asset Management services to industry.

The section undertakes research into innovative solutions for inspection problems using computer assisted data analysis and recording. The charter of the Product Development Team is to provide products and services that improve our customer's production and maintenance processes.

Noteworthy examples of in-house research and development includes:

• ARMour^® - A web based inspection data management system.
• RollaPath^™ - System for assessing the roller circle of draglines.
• VSM - a Variable Speed vibration Monitoring system; and
• ShafTest^® - A portable ultrasonic (UT) flaw detection system used to monitor and assess the integrity of industrial shafts and pins.
